The case against Mary J Blige on the
charge of copyright infringement was
finally cleared after charges were filed
claiming that Mary J did not own rights
to her 2001 hit "Family Affair." Apparently,
the song bore close resemblance to Benevolence’s
demo track “Party Ain’t Crunk," but there
was not enough evidence so the case was
dismissed. Whomp whomp.
